A noun meaning to understand the impact of your food choices on your health, the environment, and our economy.

Enriching lives through culinary arts, promoting food literacy, and healthy eating in diverse communities. Their hands on outreach promotes the vitality of the art of cooking for schools lacking nutrition programs; organizations dedicated to empowering at risk and special needs children to live healthy lifestyles; and individuals interested in cooking as a useful, life skill or career.

Our teaching kitchen bridges health outcomes, nutrition science, and culinary arts to spark positive lifestyle changes.  The spilling over of our teaching kitchen initiatives from our students to their entire family is the only time we appreciate a spilling in the kitchen!
